Gwen Watford

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Gwen Watford (10 September 1927 — 6 February 1994) was an English film, stage, and television actress. She married actor Richard Bebb in 1952. Born in London, Watford trained at the Embassy Theatre and the Old Vic. She made her film debut playing Lady Usher in The Fall of the House of Usher (1949). Other films include Never Take Sweets from a Stranger (1960), The Very Edge (1962), Cleopatra (1963), and Cry Freedom (1987). She died from cancer, aged 66, in 1994.
