Adam Skye Depew was born on June 21st, 1995 in Florence, Kentucky, USA. During his early years, Adam discovered his affection for filmmaking through clay animation during the 2000s. Later he would experiment as an editor creating movie montages of films stitched together to create a story. The various film montages that he published on Youtube with his childhood friends (Lukas Green, Heather Nordstrom) had a profound effect on how he would tackle the post production process for The Universe in its non-linear storytelling method all these years later. After graduating high school, he went on to attend Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, as well as the University of Cincinnati for Film & Media Studies. He is a writer and film director, known for My Life: An Injection of Pop Culture (2018), and most recently The Universe (2023). Adam has gone on to credit filmmakers Danny Boyle & Cameron Crowe as two directors that made the biggest impact on his overall creative methodology.
